LORD, MEND MY BROKEN HEART
At Gen 43:30, Joseph left the presence of his brethren and wept alone…
Joseph behaved himself before his brethren but in his closet he wept uncontrollably.
Some people are smiling not because they are happy but because they don’t want third party to laugh at them. Many are laughing just because they don’t want to cry again.
Some receptionist, customer service care agents only smile because there duty demands that they must always smile to justify there pay but outside work, they live in agony.
Some pastors/ministers are only smiling because they needed to encourage there members but at home they weep because of there children, wife, or health condition.
Many people you see in beer parlours jesting, joking and smiling are only trying to be happy, but outside Hero, Life, and Heineken, they live in abject sorrow and anguish of spirit.
In relationship, many force themselves to be happy either to make there ex feel that they’re fine without them or to swallow there mistake.
People today patronize comedians not because they love it but just to forget there sorrow yet while alone in private, they weep uncontrollably for disappointments, or betrayal from loved ones.
ONE OF THE WAYS TO SOLVE SUCH CONDITION:
Joseph continued like that, laughing publicly and weeping secretly until he decided to make his feelings known publicly.
Some situation worsen when you try to handle it alone, incubating your situation can only give birth to so many other situations that you can’t handle.
Don’t hide secret for too long, expose any feelings that wants to destroy your joy. Tell those who wronged you how you feel and never try to live with it for one more day. Always find someone you can lean on. MAY GOD MEND AND CONSOLE ALL THE BROKEN IN HEART AND SPIRIT IN JESUS NAME.
